Job Description / Duties

Serve as director of choral activities; direct large and small choral ensembles; teach undergraduate conducting and private voice; lead on- and off-campus recruitment initiatives and build relationships with schools in the state and region; collaborate with students and faculty for performances within the department and community; teach other courses in accordance with the candidate’s interest and qualifications.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Doctorate in choral conducting preferred; minimum of master’s degree in choral conducting required. Tenor or baritone preferred. Documented and demonstrated success as choral conductor and voice teacher; a combination of K-12 and collegiate teaching experience preferred. Established membership in the churches of Christ.
